Introducing a fun, affordable, easy to use project for Irish Primary school classes!
Welcome to Are you a primary school teacher in Ireland? Would you like your class, or entire school, to record it's own radio programme or audio newsletter, and publish it as a regular or once-off password-protected show on a private website, so that parents can log in at home and listen? Now you can do it easily and cheaply, and let someone else do the technical stuff! How it Works: All you need is a cheap microphone and a computer or something to record onto, (a dictaphone style voice recorder that can sync to a computer can also give excellent results) I'll give you easy-to-follow customised instructions, andall the help and advice you need by e-mail I'll take care of the web hosting, editing, uploading, publishing and site maintenance,of your show, so your class can concentrate on a fun and educational project! First I'll edit your recordings into a show, and add royaty-free tunes Then I'll make it publish it on a private web page, specially for your class or school. Ican even add photos or any other content. (Please ensure your principal authorises publication in advance) Put the password in the next school newsletter, or just send it home to parents in a note.
Contact me, Neal, if you'd like to know more, or get a quote. No obiligations! About me: Based in County Kildare, I have been an podcasting (downloadable radio) enthusiast since 2007, having made over three hundred episodes of my own show, a uniquely nonsensical humour podcast for adults. I started "My Class on the Radio" after my wife, a primary school teacher, asked if we could make an audio version of her school's monthly newsletters. I knew I was on to something when she reported that the pupils (a middle-ASD group at the time) loved recording themselves talking and singing, and were enthralled when listening back to themselves. The rest of the school, both mainstream and others, and ranging up to 6th class, loved it too. I look forward to helping you put your class on the radio! Please e-mail me to get in touch. All questions welcomed!
